Basic instructions
1. To install the timing kit, first remove the factory sensor then install the CH bracket and sensor using the original bolts.
The sensor will only trigger on one side so find the correct side by putting a plug into the cap, plugging in the sensor and your
battery to the ignition, manually pass the sensor over the magnet. The side that triggers the spark must be mounted facing the magnet.
2. You now need to time the engine to 28-30 degrees BTDC using the timing instructions for the Sychro Spark systems.
3. Connect and install the ignition system using the basic CH Ignition System instructions.
4. Any time you have the cap off the spark plug you should apply a little silicone dielectric spark plug grease to the inside
of the cap and to the porcelain of the plug before replacing the cap. This product is available at automotive supply stores.
5. Always do an engine running, antenna down, range check with your transmitter and model after making any changes to
your ignitions system.
For the twins. You will have two spark leads and caps. Either lead can go to either plug.
Basic installation instructions
1. Remove the original prob hub and install the CH hub. You may have to use a prop and nut to push the new hub on.
2. Follow instruction numbers 1 through 5 above.
3. This kit includes a new spark plug. A champion will work without a gasket. A NGK will need a taper seat gasket.
